Santos is a Director, President & Chief Executive Officer at National Reinsurance Corp.
of the Philippines.
Prior to being appointed as President and CEO in August 2018, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing finance, investments, data & analytics, technology, human resources and office services.
He has over 30 years of experience in local and international insurance/reinsurance markets in the US, Asia and Europe.
Mr. Santos has held various positions in several life insurance companies including the position of Chief Operating Officer for Affiliate Companies and Head of Vitality of the Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company (Philam Life).
He was also the Regional Chief Finance Officer for Europe of CIGNA based in Belgium.
Mr. Santos holds a Master’s degree in Applied Math and Bachelor of Science in Math both from the University of the Philippines.
He is a Fellow of both the Actuarial Society of Philippines and the Society of Actuaries (US) and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
