Lululemon Athletica founder Chip Wilson is launching a proxy fight at the athletic-apparel retailer in an effort to remake the company's board while Lululemon searches for a new chief executive.

The pending home sales index, a leading indicator of house sales based on contract signings, rose 3.3% on month in November to 79.2, accounting for seasonal factors. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had forecast a 1% increase in the index.

Kroger launched its Verified Savings Program that provides a discount on fruits and vegetables and Boost by Kroger Plus memberships to customers who are recipients of various government assistance programs including SNAP.
