Egypt’s Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed
seven agreements with the Abu Dhabi Aviation Group on December 1,
during the first day of the 2025 edition of the International
Defence Exhibition (EDEX 2025), according to Economy
Plus.
The agreements are part of AOI’s efforts to localise advanced
aerospace manufacturing technologies and strengthen industrial
cooperation with Arab countries, Economy Plus cited a
statement issued by the organisation.
AOI Chairman, Mokhtar Abdel Latif, explained that the
collaboration with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group will cover joint
aerospace manufacturing, industrial and marketing integration,
technical and logistical support, as well as the production of
spare parts and engine maintenance and overhaul. The partnership
will support AOI’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, in
collaboration with Abu Dhabi Aviation and its subsidiaries,
including Maximus Aviation, Global Aerospace Logistics, and the
Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Centre.
“We aim for AOI’s factories and companies to become a key hub
for enhancing cooperation and partnership, exchanging expertise
with the Abu Dhabi Aviation to meet local and regional needs, as
well as the requirements of friendly and allied countries,” said
Abdel Latif.
On his part, Mahmoud Al-Hameli, CEO of Abu Dhabi Aviation,
praised AOI’s significant role in strategic industries. He said
that the partnership will help further enhance Egypt-UAE
cooperation, opening new avenues for investment, knowledge
exchange, and industrial integration.
