Oil prices climbed Friday under continuing supply pressure from the Iran conflict.
Drillers such as ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and Diamondback Energy recorded some of the biggest gains. Oilfield services companies such as Baker Hughes and Halliburton declined.
Natural-gas futures traded slightly lower.
Energy companies with big natural-gas exposure, such as EQT and Coterra, wavered, with a small decline for EQT and a minor gain for Corterra.
