Health-care companies rose, but not by as much as the broad market, as traders rotate into more oil-sensitive sectors.
Most health insurers continued to gain after the Trump administration raised its proposed Medicare rates.
The SPDR Select Sector Health Care exchange-traded fund, which tracks the health-care industry group of the S&P 500, rose by 2%, but remains about 3.8% in the red for the year to date.
