(Reuters) -Lufthansa said on Tuesday it would propose Johannes Teyssen to be elected as chair of the supervisory board at the airline's next general meeting in May 2026.
He will succeed Karl-Ludwig Kley, who will step down from the airline's supervisory board after eight years as chair, the company added in a statement.

Johannes Teyssen is a German businessperson who has been at the helm of 10 different companies. Presently, Dr. Teyssen is Chairman-Management Board at E.ON SE and Chairman-Supervisory Board for innogy SE (a subsidiary of E.ON SE).
