SINGAPORE, May 11 (Reuters) - Senior banker Nicolas Tardieu has joined British oil and gas major BP as senior crude originator in Singapore, according to a LinkedIn post on Monday.
o Tardieu has spent more than two decades in the banking sector with a focus on commodities.
o Before joining BP, he led Scotiabank's corporate banking platform in Singapore, his LinkedIn profile showed.
o In his new role, Tardieu said he will focus on building long-term relationships with refiners, producers and market participants across the region, structuring deals that combine physical, logistics, risk management and financial solutions, while supporting BP's evolving energy and trading strategy.
o BP did not immediately respond to a Reuters' request for comment.
