Pharmaceutical company Vicore Pharma has appointed industry veteran Peter Guenter to its board of directors, according to a press release. Guenter brings nearly 40 years of experience from global pharmaceutical firms, having previously served as CEO of Merck Healthcare and Almirall, as well as holding senior leadership positions at Sanofi.

According to the company, Guenter's expertise will bolster the development of drug candidate buloxibutid ahead of topline data expected in mid-2027.
