The Company operates through three segments: Tea, Rubber, and Others. The Tea segment is engaged in the cultivation, processing, and sale of tea. The Rubber segment is engaged in the cultivation, processing, and sale of rubber. The Other segment is engaged in the cultivation and sale of diversified crops and nursery plants. The Company is the producer of Ceylon Tea, Ceylon Cinnamon, Cardamom, Pepper, Rubber, and sustainable timber for local and global markets. The Company is also engaged in selling rubber latex, timber, cinnamon, nursery plants and other agricultural produce to customers at the plantations. It sells tea to customers through its brokers at the Colombo Tea Auction. The Company's subsidiary, Newburgh Green Teas (Private) Limited, is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of green tea.
