IPAL SA is a Chile-based company, engaged mainly in the food, beverage and tourism industry. The Company’s main activity is the sale of soups, stews and cereals, covering its distribution through a national and international context. It is a parent company for a group of direct subsidiaries, such as Proalsa SA, Servicios Alimenticios Hendaya SAC, Altasur SA, Agricola Algorta SA, Inmobiliaria Biarritz SA, Inalim SPA and Transporte y Logistica Charrabata SPA. The Company’s main shareholders are Inmobiliaria e Inversiones San Juan de Luz Ltda, Inversiones Suprema SA and Nelly Pinto Fernandez SA which as of December 31, 2010, held a 33.85%, 22.05% and 11.71% interests, respectively.
