Noront Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mining company that is involved in the exploration, development and acquisition of properties prospective in base and precious metals, including nickel, copper, platinum group metals, precious metals, chromite, and vanadium. The Company's assets consist of its flagship Eagle's Nest nickel-copper-platinum-palladium deposit, deposits of high grade chromite and copper-zinc volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits which are part of the Company's McFauld's Lake Project. The assets are located primarily in Ring of Fire (ROF) in the James Bay Lowlands, Ontario. Eagle's Nest is the Company's most advanced mining project in the ROF. The Company holds a 75% interest in the Butler and Sanderson Properties located in the ROF. The Company also holds 100% interest in Blackbird chromite discovery is located less than one kilometers from Eagle's Nest.
