Sharjah Islamic Bank PJSC is a United Arab Emirates-based Bank, which is engaged in banking, financing and investing activities in accordance with Islamic Shari’a principles. The Company operates through four segments as follow: Government and corporate, which offers companies, institutions and government and government departments with a range of Islamic financial products and services; Retail, which offers a wide range of Islamic financial services to individuals; Investment and treasury, which include wakalah deals with other financial institutions, investments securities, investment properties and other money market activities; and Hospitality, brokerage and real estate, which provides real estate services, hospitality and brokerage services. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sharjah National Hotels, Sharjah Islamic Financial Services LLC and ASAS Real Estate, among others. The Company also operates through approximately 32 branches.
