Allen Brown joined The Open Group LLC in 1993 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to his current position, he was Senior Vice President and an Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of The Open Group.
Mr. Brown was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development for X/Open Co. Ltd. He co-founded Cambridge Venture Management Ltd. in 1984.
Mr. Brown held various financial and management accounting positions at Unilever Plc and Unilever Computer Services Ltd. from 1972 to 1984.
He received an MBA from the Univerity of London.
