Ms. Candace Browning Platt is a Head of Global Research at BofA Securities, Inc. From February 2003 to November 2008, she served as Head of the Global Research Securities and Economics group at Merrill Lynch.
She was named Head of Global Research of the combined Bank of America Merrill Lynch organizations after the merger of the two firms.
Previously, Ms. Browning served as Director of Equity Research for the Americas region.
From June 2000 to November 2001, she was based in London, serving as Deputy Director, Global Research Product, Pan-Europe, for Merrill Lynch EMEA Research Management.
Prior to that, she covered the airline industry in the United States.
She joined Merrill Lynch in 1990 as a Research Analyst.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Brandeis University and an MBA in marketing from Columbia University.
