Jake Martens

Jake Martens is the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Information Technology & Trust (IT&T) at HERE Technologies, a special intelligence platform technology company seeking to “Move the World Forward”.
From a Trust perspective, Jake has responsibility for: Security (cyber, product, and physical) Privacy (compliance and “by design”) Compliance (ISO 9K/27K, SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.) Business continuity (employee, site, and process) Data governance/analytics (differentiated and ethical) The Technology elements of Jake’s responsibility include overseeing: Corporate IT (cloud, infrastructure, platforms, applications, and workplace solutions) Enterprise Architecture (business value deliver, standards adherence, cost optimization, and application rationalization) Prior to joining HERE, Jake worked in product security architecture and engineering and Global IT risk management at Oracle for 6 years and spent 20 years before that in IT infrastructure, applications, and Information Security roles at Hewlett Packard / Agilent Technologies.
Jake has a PhD from Colorado Technical University where he specialized in leadership best-practices for driving technology change during chaotic times.
He also has an MBA in Finance and BSBA in Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Jake is married to a world-class Ironman 70.3 triathlete and Cisco executive… and he has 4 children, ranging from a 23-year-old firefighter to a 7-year-old second-grader.
