Rick Arthur

Mr. Rick Arthur is Vice President-Operations & Service at 1st Global Advisors, Inc. With 11 years of service with 1st Global, our staff and our affiliated firms, Mr. Arthur has an incredible depth of knowledge about our capabilities.
He is an accomplished leader who focuses on client experience, organizational standards and execution excellence.
Throughout the years, he has run many operations and service departments, and was 1st Global’s original project manager.
In these roles, he has played a significant role in shaping many of the processes, services and standards that are in place today.
He is responsible for the Operations organization, including Cashiering, TOA, New Accounts, Document Services, Regulatory Resolution and Regulatory Principal, the Service Organization, including Client Service, Multi-Channel Support, Premium Services – Eagles & BMS, the Capital Markets organization, including Fixed Income, Trading and Branch Office Supervision, and the Project Management Office.
Prior to his current position as vice president, Mr. Arthur served in various management roles including responsibility for 1st Global’s technology organization, which includes Software Development and Information Technology.
Before joining 1st Global, he spent nearly seven years at Fidelity Investments working in their back-office operation.
In this capacity, he handled inbound problem-resolution phone calls from clients, handled back-office paperwork and managed process improvement projects.
He also spent three years as an operations manager while at Fidelity.
Mr. Arthur has a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Baylor University and is a certified instructor for the Main Event Management course in Model-Netics.
He is a registered representative and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 53 and 63 licenses.
