Wentao Hu has been Vice President-Engineering of QPC Lasers, Inc. since 2007.
Previously, he was Technical Manager of Laser Subsystems of QPC Lasers from 2004 and Vice President-High Power Lasers at Quantranix Corporation from 1997 to 2007.
Dr. Hu was Research Scientist at the Institute of Industrial Science and Technology in Pohang, Korea.
He received a PhD degree from the Shanghai Institute of Optics & Fine Mechanics at Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995 and a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering from the Department of Optical Instrumentation Engineering at Zhejiang University in 1990.
