Mr. Joo Seng Wong joined Vickers in 2015 and is based in Singapore.
He is the founder and CEO of Spark Systems, builders of a new generation of ultra fast, low latency, resilient and cost effective trading platforms.
He co-founded M-Daq and acted as Non-executive Chariman from January 2010 to December 2013.
In 2014 he assumed the role of Executive Chairman, where he remained until the successful completion of the company's Series C funding round at a valuation of $250 million in November 2015.
Joo Seng started his career in 1987 with United Overseas Bank Singapore, where he was a trader in precious metals.
He subsequently joined Republic National Bank of New York, Singapore, now part of HSBC, as Vice President Foreign Exchange & Precious Metals Options.
He later joined Bank of New Zealand in Wellington, New Zealand, as Manager of Foreign Exchange Options.
He returned to Singapore to take up the position of Head of Treasury at TLB Bullion and Futures, the wholly owned derivatives brokerage arm of Tat Lee Bank Singapore.
Subsequently he joined G K Goh to start up and run G K Goh Financial Services (S) Private Ltd. in 1998.
