Agentix Corp. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is engaged in developing therapeutic agents for the treatment of metabolic diseases like Type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Its pipelines include AGTX-2004 and AGTX-2003. AGTX-2004 is a peripherally acting CB1 receptor antagonist that has demonstrated efficacy in animal models of obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). AGTX-2003 is a peripherally acting CB1 receptor inverse agonist that has demonstrated efficacy in animal models of obesity and NAFLD. The Company is focused on the development of synthetic agonists, inverse agonists, and antagonists, which modulate the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
