Al-Salam Real Estate Investment Trust (the Fund) is a Malaysia-based diversified Islamic real estate investment trust (REIT). The principal activity of the Fund is to invest in shariah-compliant properties with the primary objective of providing unitholders with regular and stable income distributions, sustainable long term unit prices and distributable income and capital growth, while maintaining an appropriate capital structure. Its operating divisions include Retail outlets, Office buildings, Food and beverage (F&B) properties comprising restaurant, Industrial and others, and Other comprising fund level operations. The Fund's assets are located in Johor Bahru as well as in major towns throughout Malaysia. Its investment properties include KOMTAR JBCC, Menara KOMTAR, @Mart Kempas, and Malaysian College of Hospitality & Management (MCHM). Damansara REIT Managers Sdn Berhad is the manager of the Fund and AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad serves as a trustee for the fund.
