JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc (the Trust) is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Trust's investment objective is to achieve capital growth from investment in medium-sized United Kingdom listed companies. The Trust specializes in investment in FTSE 250 companies, using long- and short-term borrowings to increase returns for shareholders. The Company will not invest more than 15% of its assets in other United Kingdom listed investment companies. Approximately 15% of the portfolio at prevailing values may be invested outside the FTSE 250 Index, including AIM stocks. The Company’s gearing policy is to operate within a range of 10% net cash to 20% geared in normal market conditions. It invests across various sectors, such as consumer discretionary, industrials, financials, consumer staples, technology, energy, health care, telecommunications, real estate and basic materials. Its alternative investment fund manager is JPMorgan Funds Limited.
