The Company operates through five segments: Home Health Services, Hospice Services, Home and Community-Based Services, Facility-Based Services and Healthcare Innovations (HCI). The Home Health Service segment offers a range of services, including wound care and dressing changes, pain management, pharmaceutical administration, skilled observation and assessment and patient education. The Hospice segment offers a range of services, including pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, inpatient and respite care, homemaker services, and counseling. The Home and Community-Based Services segment, services are performed by skilled nursing and paraprofessional personnel, and include assistance with activities of daily living to the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled patients. HCI segment reports on its developmental activities outside its other business segments.
