2026 heat weighs on Engie's volumes
In a preliminary update published ahead of the presentation of its results for the first nine months of 2026, scheduled for Nov. 5, Engie said that temperatures higher than during the same period in 2025 and above the seasonal average will have a negative impact on its volumes in France.

OVH improves profitability in fiscal 2026
OVHcloud reported net income of €9.4m for fiscal 2026, compared with €0.4m previously, as well as adjusted EBITDA up 9.7% to €480.5m, representing a 42% margin, up 1.6 percentage points, "demonstrating its ability to operate at scale thanks to strong productivity at every level of the company."

Jefferies' downgrade makes Imperial Brands cough
Imperial Brands shares are down 2.4% at 2,808 pence in London, hit by a downgrade in Jefferies' recommendation from "buy" to "hold", with it lowering its target price for the tobacco group's shares from 3,500 pence to 2,700 pence.

Travelers Expected to Fall Sharply After Mixed Third Quarter
Travelers is expected to open about 4% lower on Wall Street after reporting a 4% increase in adjusted ("core") net income to $1.95bn for Q3 2026, representing a 13% increase in earnings per share to $9.18, but adjusted core return on equity of 22.1%, down 0.5% from Q3 2025.
