Barry A. Ellsworth founded Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. in 2004 and has been Executive Vice President of Compliance and Development and a Director since then.

For more than five years, Mr. Ellsworth served as Managing Director of Red Rock Investment Partners.
He held various finance positions at the firms of Prudential-Bache Securities, Wilson-Davis Securities and Dean Witter Reynolds.
Earlier, he owned the financial firm of Ellsworth and Associates.
Mr. Ellsworth received a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University in 1977.
