Björn O. Nilsson

Björn O.
Nilsson is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Professor at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
He is also the Chairman of Ångpanneföreningens Forskningsstiftelse, the Stockholm Science City Foundation, and SweTree Technologies AB. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at the University of Gävle, Swednano Tech AB, Jubileum P 350 AB, and the Royal Institute of Technology.
In his former positions, Dr. Nilsson served as the Chief Executive Officer of Karo Healthcare AB. He was also a Director at BioInvent International AB from 1999 to 2012.
Furthermore, he held the role of Independent Director at AFRY AB and Director of Research at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech Corp.
He has also served as a Director at Sveriges Utbildningsradio AB, Deputy President at Biovitrum AB, and President at Karobio AB. Dr. Nilsson obtained his doctorate degree from the Royal Institute of Technology.
