Before joining NEA, Brad spent seventeen years in private equity investing both in Limited Partner and co-investment positions.
Brad joined UTIMCO’s Private Equity team with primary responsibilities that include sourcing new private equity General Partner relationships, managing, monitoring, and performing due diligence underwriting of private equity investments for the endowments, as well as reporting on private equity investment performance.
He covered all Private Equity and Venture Capital strategies globally.
Prior to UTIMCO, Brad spent fourteen years at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, where he managed a $5 billion private equity global venture and growth portfolio as well as a $6 billion U.S.
mid-market buyout portfolio.
He was a voting member of the TRS Private Equity Investment Committee.
Prior to joining TRS, Brad worked at Standard & Poor’s, focusing on corporate credit ratings.
He also previously worked with Jupiter Media Metrix, an internet advisory company.
Brad received a BA in Economics and a BS in Mathematics from Bucknell University.
