Byron Zhao

Mr. Byron Zhao joined CLSA Capital Partners in April 2006 as an Investment Director, responsible for deal sourcing, acquisition and underwriting of real estate investment for Fudo Capital L.P.
in China and Taiwan.
Mr. Zhao has more than 10 years of experience in real estate advising and acquisition in China.
Prior to joining CLSA, Mr. Zhao was a Vice President in ERGO Tru Asia, responsible for direct investment and fund management business in China.
Prior to joining ERGO Tru Asia, Mr. Zhao was the Head of Investment and Consultancy in the Shanghai office of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, responsible for advisory work for investors and owners of both residential and commercial real estate.
Mr. Zhao also worked in Canada for TD Waterhouse Investors Services.
Mr. Zhao holds a MBA with a focus in Corporate Finance/Real Estate from York University in Toronto as well as a Bachelor Degree in English from Shanghai University.
He speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Shanghainese.
