Mr. Kane joined Atlas Brown in 2010 and previous investment experience spans over thirty years and includes management positions within investment management, consulting, marketing, and strategic planning lines of business.
Prior to joining the Atlas Brown, Mr. Kane served as a Managing Director at 2nd Generation Capital, in Nashville, TN, one of the region's leading private equity firms.
Additionally he had been the Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer at Vanderbilt University, and a Partner at Massey Burch Investment Group, a highly respected venture capital firm specializing in health care and finance.
Mr. Kane graduated from Indiana University with Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Community Foundation of Louisville, the Investment Committee for the Archdiocese of Louisville, and the Board of Directors for the Trinity High School Foundation.
