Profile

Mr. David Nava is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Global Fixed Income & Currencies at RBC Global Asset Management, Inc. He manages EM bond allocations for several of the firm’s fixed income funds, focusing on sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt, employing emerging market corporate bonds and local currency emerging market investments tactically.
He is also a member of the firm’s Fixed Income Strategy Committee.
Mr. Nava has previously held positions with the Mexican Ministry of International Affairs, where he worked as an economic analyst providing support in the development of various Mexican trade agreements.
From 1997 to 2001 he worked with a leading asset management firm in Mexico City, analyzing investment opportunities across USD- and MXN- denominated instruments.
He is a graduate (BSc Economics) of the prestigious Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
He earned his MBA at the Rotman School of Management in Toronto.
