Prior to joining Origin Partners I, he held senior positions at Boston Scientific Corporation, Smith & Nephew, Millipore and CR Bard.
Mr. Hutchens was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Microsurge, Inc. At each of these companies, Mr. Hutchens’ responsibilities included the analysis and selection of new markets or products for investment.
He was also a key driver in the successful launch and ongoing management of new products and product lines that generated millions of dollars in sales and profits.
Mr. Hutchens holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University.
