Elena Sherman

Elena Sherman, CPA joined GHK Capital Partners as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer in 2019 and she became a Partner in 2023.
She has over 20 years of experience in this role and most recently was a Partner and the COO/CFO of Sutton Square Management, a long short hedge fund where Ms. Sherman led all non-investment activities for the firm.
Previously, Ms. Sherman spent 12 years as CFO of Discovery Capital Management, a leading global macro alternative asset manager with over $16 billion AUM, where she served as a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Valuation Committee and led all financial aspects for the firm and its hedge funds and private equity funds.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Sherman worked at Goldman Sachs and served as an auditor for Arthur Andersen.
Ms. Sherman is a Certified Public Accountant and received her BA and MBA from Pace University and a degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute.
