He is a retired U.S.
Armed Forces Commander USN and qualified as a Defense Attaché.
He is also an active participant in local and professional organizations.
His memberships include the Boston Financial Analysts Society, The Boston Economic Club, and a Trustee and Corporation Member of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Falmouth, MA. He also serves on its Investment Committee and its Business Development Committee.
He is also a member of the Conservation Commission in Sugar Hill, NH.
Prior to joining Ipswich Investment, he was a Managing Director and Member of the Investment Committee for Beacon Fiduciary Advisors Inc. Previously, he was Deputy Managing Director for Scimitar Global Asset Management Co. LTD in Bermuda and Director for Scimitar Asset Management Co. LTD in the United Kingdom.
He was President and Managing Director & Shareholder for Scimitar North American Asset Management Co., Inc. He held positions as Director for Indosuez International Advisors S.A. Paris, and later Indocam International Investment Advisors S.A., and Indosuez Asia Advisors in Hong Kong.
He was also President of Asia Strategic Growth Fund, Inc. Earlier in his career, Eric was a Research Analyst, Vice President and Officer for Eaton & Howard He graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Investments.
