Eric Wen

Mr. Eric Wen is a Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Blue Lotus Capital Advisors Ltd. and a Head of China Internet Sector at Aletheia Analyst Network Ltd. He is responsible for IOT and Intelligent Hardware research at Blue Lotus.
Since Mr. Wen started covering China Internet under Mary Meeker in Morgan Stanley in 2002, Mr. Wen has studied the industry for more than 18 years.
During the time, Mr. Wen worked at UBS Securities, BNP Paribas, MainFirst Securities, Mirae Asset Securities and China Renaissance Securities as Managing Directors, Head of Research, Sector Heads and Research Analysts, covering Internet, telecom and technology stocks.
Mr. Wen was instrumental in the development of the equity business for China Renaissance in 2013 and for Mirae Asset in 2011 in Hong Kong.
He was ranked in Institutional Investors multiple times in both telecom and Internet.
After leaving China Renaissance Securities, Mr. Wen founded Blue Lotus Capital Consulting Co., Ltd. and Industry Research Institution with the same brand based on many years of industry experience.
Prior to career in finance, Mr. Wen worked as a process engineer for Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Wen graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA) and obtained his Bachelor's degree (Magna Cum Laude and Bronze Tablet) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Chemical Engineering and has studied at Fudan University, China in Applied Chemistry.
