Eric Wiseman

Eric C. Wiseman (born 1955) is a business leader in the apparel industry.

Current positions
Wiseman is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board (since 2008) of VF Corporation. His is the Chairman of Timberland Company. He is Chairman of the Board of VF Arvind Brands Pvt. Ltd. and the School of Business at Wake Forest University. He is on the Board of Directors of Lowe's Companies Inc., CIGNA Corporation, and the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). He is Administrative Director at Vives Vidal Vivesa SA.

Wiseman has held a variety of positions at VF Corporation, since his arrival at the firm in 1995 including: Vice President and President of the Bestform Division, Executive Vice President of JanSport, VP and Chairman of Sportswear and Outdoor Coalitions, VP of Global Intimate Apparel Coalition, Executive Vice President, Global Brands, President and Chief Operating Officer, member of the Board of Directors.

Philanthropy
Together with his wife Susan, Wiseman donated $1m to expand the 23,000 sq. ft. SciQuarium at the Greensboro Science Center, which “marks the single largest private gift to the center in the history of the 57-year-old organization.”
