MIT FM is an active manager which invests in expanding mid-market high technology companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a focus on penetration growth automotive suppliers, advanced materials (in particular plastic) providers and selected segments of industrial electronics. The firm seeks to provide an average of EUR 10 million in growth and expansion capital to middle market companies with a turnover of EUR 10 to EUR 100 million, taking minority and majority stakes in their investee companies and typically holding an investment for four to six years. MIT FM aims to foster such improvements in their investee companies through a range of measures including offering advice, assuming board member responsibilities and providing interim management resources.
