Prior to joining Polaris in June 2005, Mr. Tomczyk was a financial analyst with Frorer Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on long-short equity trading strategies.
At Frorer Capital, Mr. Tomczyk evaluated and selected public-sector investment opportunities, as well as developed and implemented a profitable quantitative trading system.
Mr. Tomczyk received his BA with Highest Honors in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, where he spearheaded the reorganization of Dartmouth’s America Reads program.
He was awarded Citations of Excellence for his work in graph theory and linear algebra.
