The firm’s equity strategies generally follow a bottom-up, fundamental approach focused on finding investments with attractive risk/reward profiles. Fixed income strategies generally follow a fundamental, relative value approach focused on capital preservation and income. Alternative strategies generally focus on generating absolute, risk-adjusted returns that have low correlation to the broad equity market.

IronBridge Capital Management's investment process has its roots in the CFROI Valuation model, which strips out material distortions in accounting data and provides insights into wealth creation and valuation. They like to buy companies whose value drivers imply continued success, where management action is consistent with wealth creation and where management is likely to beat expectations implied by the current share price.
