John A. Fordham

Mr. John A. Fordham is on the Board of Directors at Robert W.
Baird Ltd. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years.
Prior to joining Baird, he was the London Corporate Finance Partner for William Blair and was a Managing Director and head of European Investment Banking at Alex Brown from 1993 to 1998.
He was also Managing Director and head of M&A at Hill Samuel Bank, where he worked from 1981 to 1991.
Since the early 1980s, Mr. Fordham's principal focus has been cross-border acquisitions between the United States and Europe.
In October 2001, he was appointed CEO of Baird’s European ECM business, which comprises Investment Banking, Equity Sales, Trading and Research.
In January 2003, he relinquished the CEO position to focus actively on Baird’s transatlantic M&A effort, and was also appointed Chairman of Baird International.
