John Hyde Murray

Mr. John H.
Murray is Founder, Executive Chairman & Chief Compliance Officer at Ecofin Ltd. and Chairman at EFMI Funds Plc.
Mr. Murray is a Non-Executive Director of the Ecofin Vista Long/Short Fund, the Ecofin Global Renewable Infrastructure Fund and the BlackRock Frontiers Investment Trust plc, a closed-end investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He is also a director of Lonestar Resources US Inc., a U.S.
company listed on NASDAQ.
Before founding Ecofin, Mr. Murray headed the corporate finance department and was a member of the management committee of Swiss Bank Corporation’s London-based investment banking business, Swiss Bank Corporation International (SBCI).
Prior to joining Swiss Bank Corporation, he worked for Morgan Stanley Group, joining the firm’s corporate finance department in New York and subsequently holding various positions in the firm’s offices in London, Sydney and Melbourne, an office which he headed.
Mr. Murray earned his BA in Economics (Hons) from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
