Profile
Kai Zhang serves as the Portfolio Manager in the BGI Hong Kong office.
He is currently responsible for co-managing two China and two India
iShares exchange-traded funds listed in Hong Kong/Singapore.
Prior to this, he was a portfolio manager in the BGI San Francisco office comanaging various commodities, enhanced index and custom strategy lifecycle portfolios, as well as managing fund-of-funds allocations for international and US domiciled equities funds.
Prior to his work experience in funds management, Mr Zhang held various financial analyst and business management roles with Procter & Gamble, Pepsi and Apple Computer.
Mr Zhang has a BSc from State University of New York at Binghamton and a MSc from Cornell University, both in Electrical Engineering.
He
also received his MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
