During the last four years at MSAM, he co-managed an international equity portfolio.
In addition, he served on MSAM’s Asset Allocation Committee, which determined the firm’s investment policies and positions across various asset classes.
Before joining MSAM, he spent almost three years at the African Development Bank in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where he served as the Senior Finance Officer.
He developed and implemented the investment philosophy, and trading strategies for the Bank’s U.S.
Dollars, Canadian Dollars, French Francs, Deutsche Marks and Japanese Yen portfolios.
Before working for the ADB, he managed portfolios at Ward & Associates Asset Management, an asset management firm serving public and private pension plans.
He began his career in finance as a fixed-income salesman at Salomon Brothers.
Mr. Holley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
He also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1995.
