Mr. Sharat Kotikalpudi is a Head & Lead Portfolio Manager of Systematic Macro at AllianceBernstein LP.
He oversees the firm’s systematic macro strategies, leading quantitative research and portfolio management across directional and cross-sectional macro strategies in developed and emerging markets, spanning equity futures and sectors, currencies, rates and commodities.
He joined the firm in 2010.
Prior to his current position, he served as Director of Quantitative Research for the firm’s Multi-Asset Solutions Group, leading research efforts focused on macro alpha generation.
Before that, he served as a Quantitative Analyst, where he helped design and develop the quantitative toolset underlying the asset-allocation strategies of the Dynamic Asset Allocation team.
He has over 18 years of experience.
He holds a BE in electronics and communications engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and an MA in mathematics of finance from Columbia University.
