Profile

Mr. Brauer joined Enterprise Partners in 2005.
He was president of MyoTech, a company he co-founded to develop drugs and devices for the treatment of myofascial pain and which he led until its acquisition by a European drug company.
He co-founded MyoPoint and as president led its development of specialty managed care products for chronic pain conditions.
He designed MyoPoint’s successful merger with CorSolutions Medical, a leading disease management company, and served as corporate development officer for the combined companies.
He co-founded and serves as chairman of Vitae, a company developing microfluidic systems for embryo culture and assisted reproduction.
Early in his career, Mr. Brauer was a strategy and M&A consultant, first with the international division of Alexander & Baldwin and later with the international consulting firm Cresap, McCormick and Paget.
He began his life science career in 1986 as president and first management employee of Hawaii Biotech, a vaccine and anti-cancer company founded by biotechnology pioneers Morton Mandel and Frederick Greenwood.
He received a M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. summa cum laude from Luther College.
His long standing interest in education is reflected in his service with a variety of industry/government initiatives and as a director of the Moanalua Foundation.
