Yukon is a hands-on manager which buys, builds and sells companies in a variety of sectors including multimedia, IT, road construction and industrial technology. They limit their geographic focus to Brussels and Flanders. The firm provides growth capital and replacement capital to buy out existing shareholders, typically investing EUR 1 million and taking a significant minority stake in their investee companies. They partner with management, assisting with the management of the company by taking a seat on their board of directors and providing a range of support including financial expertise, structuring information flows and strategic advice. If necessary, they develop and implement a turnaround strategy. Yukon only participates in companies in which the managers have a significant part of their personal net worth invested in their company. Their investment horizon is three to eight years, after which they exit the investment. They do not provide financing.
