Steer is a Fund Manager at Artemis Investment Management LLP.
Whilst working for Merrill Lynch and HSBC, he established himself as one of the most successful Analysts in the small companies sector, with Extel surveys ranking him amongst the Top Analysts in his sector from 1993 to 1995.
In 2001, he joined New Star Asset Management and took responsibility for the New Star UK Alpha Fund and the New Star UK Gemini Hedge Fund from launch in December 2003.
He then moved to Artemis in June 2009.
After graduating from the University of London, Mr. Steer qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
