Sleep technology company Sleep Cycle is appointing Mikael Kageback as interim CEO, effective immediately.
He replaces Erik Jivmark, who is stepping down as the company carries out a strategic review following Altor's entry as the new principal shareholder.
'After the change in ownership and the appointment of a new board, we agree that this is the right time for new leadership. Mikael Kageback is now stepping in as interim CEO while we put a permanent CEO in place. With his deep knowledge of the business, Mikael is the right person to keep the pace up during this transition phase', says Andreas Kallstrom Safwerang, chairman of Sleep Cycle.
Kageback has worked at Sleep Cycle since 2019 and most recently served as CTPO.
