Gyldendal A/S is a Denmark-based Company primarily engaged in the publishing and distribution of fiction and non-fiction books. Its offering comprises books, dictionaries, comic series, e-books, audiobooks, and a range of educational materials. Gyldendal has two divisions: Gyldendal Book Publishing, which publishes books for the private market and comprises five editorial departments: Fiction, Non-fiction, Children and Young Adults, Cicero and Flamingo; as well as Gyldendal Education, which provides educational materials for primary school, upper secondary school, higher education and VET. The Company’s subsidiaries include Publizon A/S, CHAPTER A/S, MENTOR NORGE AS and FORLAGET SYSTIME A/S.
