Pawnbroking is a form of collateralized loan and pawners pledge personal valuables as collateral for the loans extended. Pledges include jewelry in yellow or white gold, and branded timepieces. Gold, platinum or silver bars, and coins are also accepted as pledges. Its moneylending services grant both secured and unsecured term loans to businessmen and corporates. In addition, the Company also hires purchase and floor stock financing for the automotive industry. The Company sells both new and pre-owned jewelry at all its outlets. Its merchandise includes gold and diamond jewelry, gold bars and coins, branded watches, and Hermes bags. It purchases scrap gold from its own subsidiaries as well as other pawnbrokers and jewelry traders, and it sells gold bars to jewelry factories, wholesalers, and retailers.
