Mr. Christopher P.
Fama is a Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Nuveen Asset Management LLC.
He manages separate accounts for the Municipal Fixed Income team, focused primarily in the Southeast.
He started working in the financial industry in 1988.
Prior to join the firm in 2011, Mr. Fama was a sector manager and before that a senior research analyst.
He began his career at Nuveen Asset Management as a general obligation research analyst.
Previously, he was a senior analyst at the Center for Research in Security Prices, where he developed a historical database of OTC market trade and volume data as a companion to existing AMEX and NYSE databases.
Mr. Fama earned a B.A. in economics at the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. in finance and statistics from the University of Chicago.
