James J. Mermis

James J.
Mermis has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Superior Offshore International, Inc. since August 2006.
He was President of Superior Offshore International from February 2006 to August 2006 and Vice President-Operations from March 2005 to January 2006.
Mr. Mermis was General Manager-Business Development of Torch Offshore, Inc. from June 2000 to February 2005 and Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager of Stolt Comex Seaway, Inc. from 1997 to 2000.
Prior to that, he served in a variety of capacities at Subsea International, Inc. Mr. Mermis received a degree in Marine Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University.
